Backer protection
- Identity verification. Every founder verifies a government ID + a face-on-camera liveness check before they can publish.
- Held, not charged. Your card is held by Stripe until the campaign hits its goal by deadline.
- Auto-refund on failure. If the campaign fails, you're never charged.
- Milestone transparency. Founders commit to 4 video updates. Misses are public.
- FTC-compliant testimonials. Every testimonial discloses any compensation per the FTC endorsement guide.
