For founders
A 7-step flow that takes about an hour. The first time. After that you'll do the next one in 20 minutes.
Tell us about your campaign
Title, category, target amount, deadline, where you're based. Two minutes.
Verify your identity
We use Persona for KYC. Government ID. Two minutes. Encrypted at rest.
Show your face on camera
A 30-second selfie video saying your name, project, and today's date. The face has to match the ID. This is the trust hook backers see first.
Record your pitch video
5-screen teleprompter walks you through Hook → Problem → Solution → Why You → Ask. Re-record any screen anytime. PitchCoach scores it.
Upload your pitch deck
Optional. PDF, max 25MB, max 15 slides. We extract the structured claims (financial projections, market size) and surface them on your campaign page.
Write your story + reward tiers
Plain language wins. CompliantWriter flags risky language (forward-looking statements, guarantees) before it goes live.
Lock in milestones + submit
Four milestones — 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% of timeline. You commit to a video update at each one. Backers see this commitment before they pledge.
Common questions
- When does the platform charge backers?
- Cards are held — not charged — until the campaign closes successfully. If the campaign hits its goal by the deadline, cards charge then. If it fails, backers are fully refunded.
- What's your fee?
- 5% on successful campaigns. Plus standard Stripe processing (~2.9% + 30¢ per pledge). On failed campaigns we take nothing — and we absorb the Stripe processing fees on refunds, not you.
- Can I crowdfund equity or debt here?
- Not yet — we're rolling out Reg CF and debt rails in Q3 2026. Today we support rewards crowdfunding and donation campaigns.
- What happens if I miss a milestone update?
- Your campaign page shows an "overdue" badge after the milestone deadline. Backers see it. We don't charge a penalty, but trust is the asset — most successful founders post on time.
